Come visit the low country of Charleston SC and join us for a day and night of VW drag racing and a car show. We will have a minimum of 2 classes of racing (Super Pro and Pro) with a guaranteed purse (Super Pro $500/$300 / Pro $300/$150) and free t-shirts for the first 30 registered racers. The car show will not be judged and there will be no fee to park your car in the show area. Camping will be allowed at the track. Time trials will begin at 2 pm with eliminations beginning at 6 pm. Midway Drag strip will be the host track and is located 12 miles off of I-95 near Manning SC. Sunday the 12th will be the rain date at the same location. Admission is $15 and entry fee for the race will be $25 Super Pro and $20 Pro.

here will be Vendors and Swap spaces, Games for the Kids and best of all, COVERED PARKING for show vehicles! So Rain or Shine be there!

If you are staying over, check out hotels near I-85 exit 6.Everything is close by!

After the Meltdown, we will cruise into Montgomery for a local Cruise-In Nite at Flip's Grill at the corner of Vaughn and Taylor Rds. We had a big turnout of VWs there in years past. It is open to all makes of vehicles.
